We have received a number of questions from landowners. Here we’ve collected the five we’ve received the most – and provided the answers to them. You can find more information under frequently asked questions.
1. Where will you drive on my land?
The vibration trucks will primarily operate on roads and, in some cases, across fields – but not on private property. Naturally, we comply with the applicable distance limits to buildings in connection with seismic surveys.
If you are a landowner and want to see exactly where the vibration truck will drive on your property, you are welcome to contact Ramboll. They can show you a map of your property – either by email, phone or during a visit. In general, the driving lines run from east to west and are spaced 160-360 metres apart.
2. Can there be damage to my property?
Seismic surveys are a proven and gentle method that has been used in Europe for over 100 years. In co-operation with Ramboll and S³ Smart Seismic Solutions, we make every effort to carry out the work safely, efficiently and with minimum inconvenience to the public.
In the unlikely event that the surveys result in damage, we will pay compensation for structural damage in the field and for crop loss as described in the country agreement between SEGES, Green Power Denmark and Energinet, as well as a fee for the time you spend re-establishing the field or reseeding, for example.
3. Do you take older buildings into account?
Ramboll has mapped a number of listed and older buildings in the area, which we take into special consideration – among other things by keeping an extra distance when the vibration lorries pass by.
If you have older or vulnerable buildings on your property, we would like to hear from you so we can take the necessary precautions. Please send Ramboll your address and a phone number so we can contact you directly.
4. Do you take animals into account in the surveys?
If you have animals on your property – such as horses or dogs – that require special consideration when driving the vibration trucks or laying geophones (which is done on foot), please contact Ramboll so that you can agree on the necessary precautions together.
5. How do I contact you?
If you are one of the landowners who will be visited by a vibration truck in the autumn of 2025 and need to know more precisely where we will drive on your property or have other questions, you are welcome to contact Ramboll every weekday between 9-16 at +45 69158930 or at seismik@greenstore.dk.
